How to use it

- 2Walk the actual process and replace the generic process names with real steps and owners.
- 3Add cycle time (C/T), changeover time (C/O), and uptime to each process data box.
- 4Mark inventory and wait time between processes with the inventory triangles.
- 5Draw the information flow (dashed) and material flow (solid) with the connectors.
- 6Total the value-added time and lead time, then highlight the biggest wait as your improvement target.
